"Sherry is an incredibly gifted designer and I always wished I lived closer to her so I could engage her services. So I was thrilled when she started offering an online design service! This service allowed us to remotely collaborate on a family room redesign that I simply couldn’t pull off by myself.
The project began with an in-depth online questionnaire that allowed me to upload room dimensions and photos. From there we were able to communicate back and forth clarifying questions and concepts. The room lighting has always been challenging due to the room shape and existing configuration. A wall-mounted TV was definitely in the wrong place and I couldn’t figure out how to work around it.
Not only did Sherry provide fabulous advice on how to solve the room lighting and TV issues, she sent room layout sketches to help me conceptualize everything including furniture and light placement. She developed beautiful concept boards with paint recommendations as well as links to furniture and accessories online. For me, that eliminated the arduous task of knowing where to begin and helped me in finding “just the right pieces.”
